FIFA and Rocket League Unveil Esports World Cup Partnership

In a significant development for the world of esports, FIFA has collaborated with Rocket League to launch the FIFAe World Cup. The announcement was made during the Rocket League Championship Series, revealing that 16 countries will participate, each represented by a team of three players and one substitute. The selection of participating countries will be based on their level of engagement in previous Rocket League Major events.
