Testronic has announced a series of high‑level appointments across its worldwide operations, most notably the promotion of Mike Guttman to the role of Vice President of Senior Partnerships. This strategic move is part of the company’s broader effort to deepen its leadership bench and to better serve the growing needs of its global client base. Mike Guttman arrives at Testronic with a robust background in client relationship management and business development.
Prior to joining the firm, he held the position of client partner at Keywords Studios, where he was responsible for nurturing large‑scale accounts and driving revenue growth. He also spent time as a senior business development manager, gaining valuable experience in identifying new market opportunities and forging strategic alliances.
In his new capacity as Vice President of Senior Partnerships, Guttman will oversee the cultivation of high‑value relationships, ensuring that Testronic’s partners receive tailored support and that the company’s service offerings remain aligned with evolving industry demands. Supporting Guttman’s mission is Nicole Closson, who steps into the role of Business Development Manager. Closson’s mandate is to broaden commercial coverage and to provide dedicated assistance to partners both regionally and worldwide.
She brings a wealth of experience from her previous tenure at Keywords Studios, where she served as an enterprise account executive, as well as from her time at Unity, where she held senior account executive responsibilities for the Parsec and SyncSketch products. Her deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and her proven track record in managing complex accounts will be instrumental in expanding Testronic’s market reach. In Europe, the Warsaw office has welcomed Mateusz Kałuża as its new QA Director.
Kałuża’s appointment follows a distinguished career in quality assurance, most recently as a senior tester at Lionbridge Games. He highlighted the strategic importance of the Warsaw hub, stating, "Warsaw brings together deep QA expertise, experience and a real understanding of what developers need from a testing partner. Our continued investment in the team ensures we grow that expertise locally, fully connect it with Testronic's wider global capabilities and deliver consistently for partners wherever they are based." His leadership is expected to reinforce the office’s reputation for delivering rigorous testing services and to integrate Warsaw’s capabilities more tightly with Testronic’s global network.
Further strengthening the company’s partnership function, Lily Guerreiro has been appointed Global Partnerships Senior Manager. Guerreiro previously served as Global Business Development Manager at Keywords Studios, where she honed her skills in scaling partnership programs across multiple regions. In her new role, she will coordinate cross‑border initiatives, align partnership strategies with product development, and ensure that Testronic’s global partners receive consistent, high‑quality support. The Manila Centre of Excellence has also seen senior talent added to its ranks.
Daniel Bowie Soriano joins as Senior QA Manager, bringing extensive experience in managing large‑scale testing projects and leading multidisciplinary teams. Alongside him, Ivan Balanay has been named QA Trainer, a role that underscores Testronic’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of quality assurance professionals.
Balanay’s appointment was described as a step that "further supports [its] investment in developing the Testronic Academy and building the next generation of QA expertise," reflecting the company’s focus on education and skill development within its operational hubs. Chief Revenue Officer Michael Fitzgerald commented on the significance of these appointments, noting, "Our Centres of Excellence bring together talented people, specialist expertise and leadership, and connect those capabilities across a genuinely global organisation. The investments we are making in New Orleans, Warsaw and Manila, alongside our presence in London, further strengthen the expertise available to our partners. By continuing to invest in outstanding people, we can deliver an exceptional Player‑Focused, Partner‑First and Outcomes‑Led service to our clients." His remarks emphasize Testronic’s strategic vision of leveraging geographic diversity to provide a seamless, high‑quality service experience.
These leadership changes follow a recent reshuffle at the highest level of the company. Earlier this month, Testronic announced that Sonia Kerr would assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Sharon Baylay‑Bell, who transitioned to the position of company chair. In tandem with this transition, Michael Fitzgerald was confirmed as Chief Revenue Officer, and Samantha Williams was appointed Chief Commercial Officer.
Fitzgerald’s background includes a stint as a client partner at Keywords Studios, while Williams previously served as Testronic’s global CRO and head of Europe, bringing a deep understanding of both the commercial and operational aspects of the business. Collectively, these appointments signal Testronic’s dedication to building a robust leadership pipeline that can navigate the complexities of the gaming and interactive entertainment sectors. By integrating seasoned professionals from leading industry firms and fostering internal talent through roles such as QA trainer, the company aims to enhance its service delivery, expand its market footprint, and maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving landscape.
The expanded senior team is expected to drive innovation, improve partner satisfaction, and reinforce Testronic’s reputation as a trusted testing and quality assurance partner for developers worldwide.
