Sinn Studio Lands $2.5 Million Investment for Upcoming Virtual Reality Combat Game

Canadian game development company Sinn Studio has successfully secured $2.5 million in funding, led by investment firm Hartmann Capital. The newly acquired funds will be utilized to drive the development of its highly anticipated real-time player-versus-player VR combat game, currently in production. Additional support was provided by prominent investors including Boost VC, Republic, Alumni Ventures, Mana Ventures, MetaVision, and notable angel investors such as Chris Ye, CEO of Uken Games. According to Alek Sinn, co-founder and CEO of Sinn Studio, "After navigating the challenges of the VR industry as a self-funded company for seven years, we have finally found the ideal moment and partners to back our initial fundraising effort." Sinn expressed gratitude towards Hartmann Capital and other contributors, stating, "Their faith in our mission to revolutionize combat in the emerging spatial computing landscape is truly appreciated." Founded in 2017 by Alek Sinn and Almir Brljak, Sinn Studio has expanded to a team of 30 employees. The company's inaugural title, Swordsman, was released on Steam in 2020 and later became available on Quest, Pico, and PSVR 2.
