Lightspeed Studios Welcomes Seasoned Executive as VP of PC and Console Publishing
Lightspeed Studios has named Michael Pattison, a seasoned industry professional, as its new vice president of publishing for PC and console games. With over 20 years of experience, Pattison has held key positions at major gaming companies, including THQ, Capcom, and Sony Interactive Entertainment, where he led third-party publishing, developer relations, and global marketing from 2013 onwards. Following his departure from Sony in 2021, Pattison served as CEO of Team17 for two years before moving into consulting. He has now joined Lightspeed Studios, bringing invaluable expertise to the company. According to Steve C. Martin, vice president at Lightspeed, Pattison's appointment will significantly contribute to the company's ongoing efforts to create innovative and exceptional gaming experiences on a global scale. Currently, Lightspeed Studios is developing The Last Sentinel, an open-world AAA title, under the leadership of Rockstar veteran Steve Martin at its Lightspeed LA team.
