GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit Makes Its Return This September

The GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit is set to return for its second iteration, this time being hosted at the esteemed Royal Institution in London. The event is scheduled to take place on September 18th, with a full-day program culminating in the 2024 Best Places To Work Awards. Early Bird tickets are currently available for purchase at £130 plus fees. This year's summit aims to address the most pressing concerns facing HR professionals, including maintaining team morale during times of uncertainty, the implications of AI, diversity and inclusion initiatives, leadership strategies, mental health support, and the nuances of hybrid and remote work arrangements. The initial lineup of speakers includes Emma Smith of Hestia Talent, Sarah Brewster from FreshSeed, Sarah Sorrell of Safe In Our World, Sheila Attwood of Brightmine, and Tommy Thompson from AI and Games, with additional speakers to be announced. Building on the success of last year's sold-out event at BAFTA, the 2024 summit will feature more roundtable discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities. The event is sponsored by Amiqus, with sponsorship inquiries directed to George.Corner@gamesindustry.biz. Companies interested in participating in the 2024 Best Places To Work Awards can submit their entries now, with further details available online.
