Summer Game Fest 2024 Partnership Lineup Unveiled

The initial list of partners for Summer Game Fest 2024 has been announced, featuring 55 participating companies in the upcoming two-hour event scheduled for June 7, 2024. Notable partners include Xbox, PlayStation, and major publishers such as Epic Games, Electronic Arts, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Sega, WB Games, and Ubisoft. The involvement of Xbox, PlayStation, and Ubisoft likely refers to their respective showcases, which will run concurrently with Summer Game Fest. The Xbox Games Showcase is set for June 9, followed by Ubisoft Forward on June 10, while PlayStation's showcase date remains unannounced. Separately, Nintendo has planned a Nintendo Direct for June, although it appears unrelated to Summer Game Fest. Led by Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest aims to fill the void left by the discontinued E3 trade show. However, it will face competition from IGN Live, a rival event scheduled for June 7-9, 2024, in Los Angeles.
