April's Top-Selling Game Revealed in Japan's Monthly Charts

Japan's gaming market saw notable sales in April, with the Nintendo Switch selling 251,000 units across its various models. In comparison, the PlayStation 5 sold 90,000 consoles during the same period, according to Famitsu's retail sales data. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes emerged as the top-selling game, with 65,000 units sold across different platforms after its launch on April 23. Stellar Blade, launched on April 26, took the second spot with 49,000 units sold in just three days. Princess Peach: Showtime followed closely, selling 46,000 units. Nintendo dominated the market with a 35% share of physical game sales, while Sony Interactive Entertainment and 505 Games secured 9% and 7%, respectively.
