Krafton Acquires Minority Stake in Far From Home

Krafton, a South Korean company, has acquired a minority stake in Far From Home, a Polish game development studio. According to reports, Krafton will provide financial support for the ongoing development of Forever Skies, an Early Access title, as well as the studio's future projects. Far From Home will maintain its independence and continue to self-publish its games. The studio's CEO, Andrzej Blumenfeld, stated that the investment from Krafton will provide a diversification of funding and long-term security, allowing the studio to focus on creating high-quality games. With the recent partnership with Sony and the upcoming release of Forever Skies on PS5 and PC, the studio is confident about its future prospects. The full release of Forever Skies is expected later this year, following its Early Access launch on Steam in June 2023.
