Turtle Beach Discontinues Roccat Brand

Turtle Beach has revealed plans to discontinue the Roccat brand. The decision is driven by the company's desire to concentrate on a single brand identity. According to the firm, "although the Roccat brand will be retired, several of its renowned product lines, including the Vulcan, Kone, Burst, and Sense, will be rebranded under Turtle Beach." The company emphasized its ongoing commitment to the PC gaming market, promising to introduce innovative new products and Turtle Beach-branded versions of popular Roccat items. The move to retire Roccat comes five years after its acquisition, which was valued at over $17 million. This development follows the company's recent announcement of acquiring PDP for $118 million.
