This year's German Computer Game Awards saw Hekate's Ad Infinitum emerge as a top winner, securing three notable awards. Among the 15 award categories, Larian Studios, the creator of Baldur's Gate 3, won the Best International Game award. According to Felix Falk, managing director at Game, the German Games Industry Association, 'The winning titles this year showcase the impressive achievements of German game developers.' The winners of the German Computer Game Awards 2024 include: Best German Game - Everspace 2 by Rockfish Games, Best International Game - Baldur’s Gate 3 by Larian Studios, and Best Family Game - Spells & Secrets by Alchemist Interactive and Rokaplay.
