Konami Announces Salary Hike for Japan-Based Employees from March 2025

Konami Group has revealed plans to implement a salary increase for its employees in Japan, effective March 2025. The raise includes a monthly boost of ¥5,000 ($33) to the basic pay for full-time staff members. New graduates will see their monthly compensation rise to ¥300,000 ($1,978), up from the previous ¥295,000 ($1,945). However, certain positions and local company groups will be exempt from these increases. According to Konami, the motivation behind the salary adjustments is to provide a stable income for employees and foster a positive work environment. This move marks the company's third consecutive year of increasing base salaries, starting from March 2025.
