Lunacy Games Emerges with Veteran Team and Ambitious Projects

Veteran game industry professionals have come together to form Lunacy Games, a new studio led by the experienced Bill Roper. Currently, the studio is developing a cooperative survival role-playing game set in the American Wild West, alongside a new title in the Hellgate franchise. Bill Roper brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent decades in the industry, including a five-year tenure as vice president of consumer products and interactive media at Disney. Additionally, Roper has founded Thundergod Publishing and served as chief creative officer at Improbable for a year. According to Roper, "Our approach is built on radical transparency, where our leadership shares all aspects of our strategy and progress with the entire team." The studio's maiden project is a cooperative survival RPG set in the Old West, with plans to expand its portfolio, including the development of a new Hellgate game, for which they have acquired the necessary licensing rights.
