Bidstack Executive Team Completes Acquisition of the Company

The executive team of Bidstack has successfully acquired the company from its investors and shareholders, marking a new chapter for the in-game advertising platform. According to a LinkedIn post, all existing contracts with UK and European-based staff will remain intact, as will relationships with clients. This development comes after a tumultuous period for Bidstack, which saw the collapse of a £2.4 million loan agreement with investor Iderto last October. The company subsequently initiated a review with restructuring firm Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP and appointed administrators earlier this month, resulting in the suspension of its shares. Prior to the acquisition, Bidstack had engaged with numerous potential buyers, with upwards of 200 parties expressing interest. The executive team, now majority shareholders, will continue to lead the company, with James Draper remaining as CEO, alongside Dave Garvey as chief legal officer and Daniel Barrigas as chief technology officer. Additionally, Lisa Hau will assume the role of chief financial officer, while Will Stewart will take on the added responsibility of chief product officer. Draper noted that the acquisition represents a significant milestone for the company's future growth, enabling it to focus on unlocking its vast potential and enhancing the player experience by bringing virtual IP to life.
