Muddy Robot Games Emerges as a New AAA Studio

The gaming landscape has welcomed a new AAA studio, Muddy Robot Games, comprising seasoned professionals from renowned companies such as EA, Sony, Blizzard, Disney, Apple, and Google. Established in October 2023, the studio is headed by Chris Hood, a veteran with over 30 years of experience in the entertainment and gaming sectors. Hood previously served as the president of the International Game Developers Association's South California chapter and co-founded Blind Squirrel Games in 2009. He also held the position of head of digital strategy and innovation at Google from 2018 to March 2023. According to Hood, "Our goal is to revive the excitement of gaming, encourage developers to push boundaries, and create an immersive experience for players." He further emphasized, "The gaming industry's success can be attributed to its willingness to experiment and innovate. We strive to rekindle the passion for creativity among developers." Muddy Robot Games is currently developing a range of original titles and plans to leverage its in-house technology to enhance its gaming offerings.
