February's Best-Selling Game: Persona 3 Reload Tops Japan's Monthly Charts
During February, Nintendo Switch sales reached 191,000 units across its models in Japan. In contrast, Sony's PlayStation 5 sold 147,000 consoles. The newly released Persona 3 Reload, which launched on February 2, sold 95,000 copies, marking the first time in eight months that a PS5 title has topped the sales charts. The game's PS4 version sold 52,000 copies. Other top-selling games included Mario vs. Donkey Kong with 89,000 units and Granblue Fantasy: Relink with 63,000 copies. Nintendo led the month's software sales with 399,000 units, followed by Atlus with 153,000 units and Cygames with 93,000 copies. In terms of physical game units sold, Nintendo dominated the market with a 30% share, while Atlus and Cygames accounted for 12% and 7%, respectively.
