Warner Bros. to Discontinue Adult Swim Games Portfolio

Warner Bros. Discovery has initiated the process of delisting titles from its Adult Swim Games label across various digital platforms. According to a report by Polygon, developers such as Michael Molinari, the creator of Soundodger+, have been informed that their games will be retired. Molinari was told that his title would be removed from Steam within a 60-day period. Despite his efforts to transfer ownership of the game to his company, the request was rejected, citing "logistical and resource constraints". This means that if Molinari decides to republish the game independently, all existing wishlists, reviews, and community guides will be lost. Furthermore, any republished version would need to remove all references to Adult Swim Games, including alterations to the game's credits sequence. Another developer, Matt Lewandowski of Team2Bit, also attempted to regain ownership of the studio's game First Puncher but was met with the same response from Warner Bros. Similarly, Owen Reedy, the creator of Small Radios Big Televisions, announced that he is making the Windows PC version of his game available for free in response to the delisting notice. Efforts to obtain a comment from Warner Bros. Games are currently underway.
