Sony Explores PC Compatibility for PSVR 2
Sony Interactive Entertainment has begun the process of integrating PC compatibility for its PSVR 2 device. This development comes approximately one year after the launch of the virtual reality equipment. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony stated, "We are delighted to announce that we are currently testing the capability to allow PSVR 2 users to access a broader range of games on PC, in addition to the titles available on PS5, to further enhance gaming options." The company aims to make this functionality available to users at some point this year. Although the precise sales figures for the PSVR 2 are not publicly available, it was reported in May 2023 that the device had sold 600,000 units within six weeks of its release. This figure represents an 8% increase in sales compared to the original PSVR during the same period.
