Maximum Entertainment Consolidates Six Gaming Divisions

Maximum Entertainment, formerly known as Zordix, has unveiled a major restructuring effort, bringing its diverse divisions together under a single umbrella. The move encompasses several prominent publishers, including Maximum Games, Modus Games, Just For Games, and Merge Games, as well as the development studio Modus Studios, all of which will now operate under the Maximum Entertainment banner. As part of its strategic expansion, the company aims to boost its intellectual property ownership to 30% of its total revenue by 2025 and intensify its focus on transmedia projects. With over 100 games currently in development, including 15 original IPs, Maximum Entertainment is poised for significant growth. The announcement coincides with the release of the company's Q4 2023 and full-year interim financial report, which reported net sales of SEK 394 million for the quarter and SEK 1.15 billion for the year. In an earlier interview, CEO Christina Seelye discussed the company's reorganization and the launch of Maximum Entertainment, following the acquisition of Maximum Games for $42 million in 2021. The company has since secured a $30 million credit line to invest in its IPs and mergers and acquisitions, and has acquired Fun Labs, further solidifying its position in the gaming industry.
