Scopely Implements Restructuring in Kingdom Maker Team

Scopely has acknowledged that it is considering personnel adjustments within its Kingdom Maker publishing team. According to a post on LinkedIn by industry observer Amir Satvat, approximately 38 staff members have been impacted by the changes. A Scopely spokesperson revealed to GamesIndustry.biz that the restructuring is a result of ending the publishing partnership with Global Worldwide, the developer of Kingdom Maker, and efforts are being made to reallocate affected employees to other roles within the company. "Although most of our staff have been reassigned to other projects, around 15 colleagues may not find suitable positions within Scopely," the spokesperson stated. "In such cases, we will provide support and resources to facilitate their transition to new opportunities. We appreciate the dedication and contributions of our Kingdom Maker team members who are affected by this decision." The spokesperson also confirmed that Scopely will maintain its position as a strategic investor in Global Worldwide.
