Xsolla Undergoes Leadership Restructuring with New Strategy Officer

Xsolla has unveiled a significant shift in its leadership, with Chris Hewish, the company's former president and interim CEO, assuming the position of chief strategy officer. Hewish initially joined Xsolla as president in 2020 and later took on the role of interim CEO in May. His prior experience includes heading the studio for virtual reality developer Survios and Skydance's interactive division. Following the appointment of David Stelzer as president in December, after an eight-year tenure at Epic Games as a senior director, Alexander 'Shurick' Agapitov will continue to serve as Xsolla's CEO, having founded the company in 2005. According to a report by GamesBeat, Hewish's new role will involve cultivating partnerships and collaborations with publishers to drive growth. "I am excited to utilize my expertise and passion for delivering exceptional gaming experiences to propel our strategic goals forward and support Xsolla's continued expansion during this pivotal phase," Hewish stated.
