League of Geeks Co-Founder Adam Duncan Passes Away

Adam Duncan, a founding member of League of Geeks, has sadly passed away. The studio announced his death on social media, choosing not to disclose any further details surrounding his passing. In a heartfelt statement, the studio remembered Duncan as a highly respected art director, concept artist, and animator, whose breathtaking illustrations and character designs infused their projects with a distinctive and vibrant energy. Duncan was among the key figures who established League of Geeks in Melbourne, Victoria, back in 2011, alongside Blake Mizzi, Ty Carey, and Trent Kusters. His former and current colleagues have taken to social media to express their condolences and share fond memories of working alongside him. Mizzi reflected on the time they spent as flatmates and the privilege of collaborating with Duncan to bring imaginative worlds to life, saying, "I'm already missing you, mate. I cherish the time we spent together, and I'm struggling to come to terms with your passing." Lisy Kane of Kepler Interactive also paid tribute, describing Duncan as an exceptionally kind and patient individual with immense talent, who remained humble and dedicated to his craft. "He was the kind of person who added so much value to everything League of Geeks created, yet never sought to draw attention to himself," Kane said.
