Nitro Games Secures €3.5m Funding from Digital Extremes

Nitro Games has obtained €3.5 million in funding to advance its mobile Warframe project. Following an August 2023 investment of €1.2 million, the Finnish developer has expanded its agreement with Warframe creator Digital Extremes. The initial deal was struck in July 2021, with total funding now amounting to around €12.5 million. The mobile Warframe version is slated for completion this year. According to Nitro Games, this agreement aligns with the studio's strategy of developing its own IP and providing services to select clients. Meanwhile, Digital Extremes is concentrating on developing Warframe and building on its success, having closed its publishing arm and undergone restructuring last year.
