RAFA Racing Club Expands Capabilities with Grid Finder Acquisition
In a significant move, RAFA Racing Club has taken over Grid Finder, a prominent online racing community service platform. The acquisition, valued at £3 million, is set to enhance Grid Finder's platform by incorporating more broadcasters, sim racing tools, and engineers, as well as developing technology tailored to RAFA's brands. As a car enthusiast hub based in Houston, RAFA Racing Club strives to promote mainstream recognition of motorsports and foster a sense of community. Grid Finder, founded in 2020 by Nikhil Patel, Tom Stapley-Bunten, and Chris Hannibal, aims to connect online racing enthusiasts with communities across various platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. "The acquisition provides Grid Finder with the necessary resources and support to deliver substantial value to the online racing community... With RAFA Racing's passion, vision, and resources, we will be able to scale our product to cater to a global audience of racing fans," stated Stapley-Bunten.
