Krafton Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Unlawful Termination
A former female employee of Krafton has filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging that she was wrongfully terminated after reporting an incident of sexual assault by a former executive. According to reports, the employee worked at Krafton from 2021 to 2023 and claims that the incident occurred at a work-related party following the Game Awards. The employee reported the incident to Krafton's leadership, but the lawsuit alleges that the company failed to investigate and instead fired her two months later. The lawsuit, filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, states that the executive in question worked at Krafton for nearly three years before leaving in September 2023. In response to the allegations, a Krafton spokesperson stated, "We take all allegations of workplace misconduct extremely seriously. However, due to the ongoing nature of this legal matter, we cannot comment on the specifics of the case at this time."
