Xbox Introduces Indie Selects Initiative

ID@Xbox has unveiled a new curation program designed to put the spotlight on standout indie titles on its platform. The Indie Selects program involves a team-curated selection of games, which will be displayed in a dedicated section of the Xbox Store. Every Wednesday, a new set of games will be highlighted across various channels, including one for newly released titles, another for games centered around a weekly theme suggested by players on social media, and a channel focused on indie games from around the globe, as well as pre-orderable titles and wish list additions. At the end of each month, the ID@Xbox team will vote on six titles to be showcased as Indie Selects, which will then be featured in a special collection for the week, accompanied by an article on Xbox Wire and a digital award for the developers. According to ID@Xbox, 'This dedicated, permanent collection in the Xbox Store will enable us to shine a light on games we believe are truly exceptional, ranging from current favorites to hidden gems from new creators worldwide.'
