The 13th annual New York Game Awards ceremony was held yesterday, with Baldur's Gate 3 emerging as the biggest winner, securing the prestigious Game of the Year award. Additionally, the game developed by Larian Studios took home the Best Writing in a Game award, after being nominated in six categories. Remedy's Alan Wake 2 also received notable recognition, winning awards for Best World and Best Acting in a Game for Melanie Liburd's outstanding performance as Saga Anderson. Other notable winners include Rundisc's Chants of Sennaar, which was named Best Indie Game, and MiHoYo's Honkai: Star Rail, which won the award for Best Mobile Game. Sanzaru Games' Asgard's Wrath 2 was honored as the Best AR/VR Game.
