IronSource Co-Founders Transition Out of Executive Roles at Unity

A major shift is underway at Unity, with six co-founders of IronSource stepping down from their executive positions and taking on non-executive roles. They will remain employed for the next six months to facilitate a seamless transition. According to a recent SEC filing reported by PocketGamer.biz, Tomer Bar-Zeev has mutually agreed with the company to relinquish his role as CEO as part of the restructuring efforts. Other IronSource co-founders, including Eyal Milrad, Omer Kaplan, Tamir Carmi, Arnon Harish, and Assaf Ben-Ami, have also agreed to vacate their executive positions. This development follows the completion of the IronSource and Unity merger in November 2022, resulting in the formation of Unity Grow Solutions. The company's product portfolio now includes Unity LevelPlay, ironSource Ads, Unity Ads, Luna from Unity, Supersonic from Unity, and Aura from Unity. The announcement comes on the heels of Unity's decision to undergo significant layoffs as part of its restructuring plan, which will affect approximately 1,800 jobs.
