Spider-Man 2 Leads the Pack with Most Nominations for 2024 DICE Awards

The nominations for the 27th Annual DICE Awards were unveiled yesterday, with Spider-Man 2 taking the top spot, receiving recognition in nine categories, including Action Game of the Year and Game Direction. Insomniac Games' title is closely followed by Remedy's Alan Wake 2, which garnered eight nominations, including Art Direction and Story. Baldur's Gate 3 secured seven nominations, with notable recognitions for the portrayals of Astarion and Karlach by Neil Newbon and Samantha Béart, respectively. The indie game Cocoon received six nominations, including Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game, Adventure Game of the Year, and Game Direction. All four games are contenders for Game of the Year, alongside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which received five nominations. Other notable recognitions include Starfield for Art Direction and Role-Playing Game of the Year, and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty for Role-Playing Game of the Year. The 27th Annual DICE Awards ceremony will take place on February 15 at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas, in conjunction with the conference.
