Blockchain Games for Adults to be Featured on Epic Games Store

Epic Games Store has revised its policy to include games rated Adults Only, provided they have been labeled as such solely due to their incorporation of blockchain technology. According to an update on the developer site, these games must still adhere to the store's guidelines for blockchain and general content, which prohibit activities such as gambling and linking to NFT marketplaces. This policy shift has led to the re-listing of games like Gods Unchained and Striker Manager 3. Notably, Epic Games began accepting blockchain and NFT titles in 2021, following Steam's decision to ban them. At the time, CEO Tim Sweeney expressed his view on the technology, stating that the blockchain is essentially a distributed database with a decentralized business model, and its utility is not dependent on the success or failure of specific use cases.
