GamesIndustry.biz Faces Backlash Once Again | Creature Comforts

The pandemic brought unprecedented challenges, and everyone coped in their own unique way. In response, we shifted our focus from covering the games industry to prioritizing our readers' mental well-being by sharing heartwarming pet pictures. We asked developers to share photos of their beloved pets, and the response was overwhelming, with 457 pictures submitted. The 'Creature Comforts' column was a welcome respite from the gloom of 2020, and we're reviving it as a year-end treat for 2023. We've once again reached out to developers and PR contacts for pet photos, and the response has been astounding. We'll be featuring the photos in multiple columns, so if you don't see your pet featured immediately, don't worry – they'll have their turn in the spotlight soon. We're also extending an invitation to anyone in the industry who wants to participate.
