Thunderful Revamps Leadership Team

Thunderful has undergone a significant leadership restructuring, marked by the departure of Chief Games Officer Agostino Simonetta and the appointment of four new executives to key positions. Claire Boissiere, formerly VP of Studios, has been elevated to Executive Vice President of Studios and Development, while also retaining her role as Jumpship's Studio Director. Harriet Hughes, previously VP of Marketing, now serves as Executive Vice President of Publishing, overseeing marketing efforts, first and third-party publishing, and sales divisions. Kathrin Strangfeld has transitioned from Chief Operations Officer to Executive Vice President of Operations, and Sue Smith has been promoted to Group Vice President of People and Culture, where she will oversee all HR functions. These new appointments will work in conjunction with CFO Henrik Lundkvist and EVP of Distribution Johan Mannerhill as part of the reorganized executive structure, which follows the appointment of new CEO Martin Walfisz in May. Agostino Simonetta, who joined the company in June 2021, is leaving to pursue new opportunities.
