Allstar, a leading gameplay content capturing service, has announced the successful completion of a $12 million Series A funding round. The investment will be utilized to accelerate product development and broaden the application of its technology in upcoming partnerships. Currently, the company supports four prominent games and their respective communities, including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Fortnite. The funding round was led by Drive Capital, with participation from existing investors such as Mark Cuban, New York Angels, Studio VC, J-Ventures, and Alumni Ventures, who also contributed to the company's $3.85 million seed round in 2021. To date, Allstar has raised over $18 million in funding, with notable investments from gaming industry leaders including Twitch, Zynga, and Blizzard. "Allstar is revolutionizing the way gamers create content," stated Chris Olsen, co-founder and partner at Drive Capital. Founded in 2019 by CEO Nick Cuomo and CTO Gavin Silver, Allstar empowers gamers to capture, edit, and share content across social media platforms via the cloud. "Our goal is to integrate our technology seamlessly across all games and game engines, establishing Allstar as the premier platform for gamers before and after gaming sessions," said Cuomo.
