Veteran gaming industry expert Xavier Liard has unveiled StoreRider, a novel distribution platform designed to facilitate connections between mobile game developers and alternative Android stores, enabling them to expand their revenue streams beyond the Google Play Store. Headquartered in Paris, StoreRider aims to navigate the complex landscape of third-party mobile storefronts on behalf of developers. As co-founder of renowned companies Playdigious and DotEmu, Liard brings extensive experience to this new venture. According to Liard, "By taking on the technical aspects of distribution and carefully selecting additional outlets, we can generate supplemental revenue for game owners, which would be difficult to achieve with in-house resources alone." StoreRider prioritizes security and adapts its services to meet the unique needs of each game owner, providing access to a network of distributors that rely on the platform for technical management.
