PlayStation Store to Remove Purchased Discovery TV Shows

By the end of the month, PlayStation will discontinue access to purchased Discovery TV shows on its platform. A notification has been sent to affected users, citing licensing issues with content providers as the reason. The notice states that all previously purchased Discovery content will be removed from users' video libraries due to current licensing arrangements. Over 1,300 seasons of shows, including Animal Planet Presents, Cake Boss, and MythBusters, will no longer be available. This move follows a similar incident last year, where PlayStation removed content from Studio Canal due to changes in licensing agreements with its providers, resulting in users being unable to access their purchased content.
