Experis Game Solutions Employees Choose to Form a Union
In a recent vote, the staff at Experis Game Solutions' Milwaukee office has decided to unionize. According to an announcement from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, 35 employees voted in favor of forming a union, while four opposed it. The newly formed union, which consists of 42 test associates, software test engineers, and data software analysts, will begin preparing for contract negotiations with the company. Experis Game Solutions' Milwaukee office primarily focuses on testing Microsoft games, including popular titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator, Forza Motorsport, Halo Infinite, and Starfield. The staff's decision to unionize aims to address pressing workplace concerns, such as inadequate pay, burnout, job insecurity, and unaffordable health insurance. Prior to the vote, employees had filed for a union election with the National Labor Relations Board in October. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers reported that Experis Game Solutions management and the global staffing agency ManpowerGroup conducted an 'anti-union campaign', which included mandatory meetings, emails, and workplace postings, as well as threats of frozen pay and promotions. Although Experis Game Solutions did not comment on these allegations, the company released a statement in response to the unionization decision, stating, 'We respect the right of our consultants to make their own decisions regarding union representation, regardless of whether they vote for or against.' The company emphasized its commitment to working together and engaging in honest and good-faith negotiations with the union.
