Furthermore, the report verified that Game Science's 2015 recruitment ads contained sexist imagery and headlines, including one that implied romantic relationships with colleagues were a workplace benefit. Another ad was allegedly discriminatory towards potential employees based on their weight. In 2020, co-founder Feng Ji used explicit language in a video commentary about a viral Wukong clip. The report also examines the broader issue of sexism in the Chinese gaming industry, citing the case of Duoyi Games, where CEO Xu Bo allegedly fired 11 female employees, with an employee claiming the reason was that he 'didn't want another feminist bitch' at the studio.
