Hogwarts Legacy Regains Top Spot in UK Boxed Charts Following Early Black Friday Promotions

The UK physical charts have seen Hogwarts Legacy reclaim the number one position, thanks to its release on the Nintendo Switch and the impact of Black Friday discounts, which have pushed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 down to second place. Several other titles have also experienced a surge in sales, including EA Sports FC 24, which jumped to third place with a 115% increase after being included in a PS5 bundle. Assassin's Creed Mirage also saw a notable rise, moving from tenth to eighth place with a 165% boost in sales. Additionally, Gran Turismo 7 and Forspoken have re-entered the charts at numbers 15 and 16, respectively, following their inclusion in PS5 bundles. This week, three new titles entered the UK boxed charts: Super Mario RPG at number six, Bluey: The Video Game at number seven, and Persona 5 Tactica at number 34. Retailer promotions have also led to the re-entry of games like The Last Of Us Part 1, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Resident Evil 4 into the Top 40, while games such as Minecraft Legends, Final Fantasy 16, The Crew Motorfest, and Lego 2K Drive have benefited significantly from price reductions.
