The co-president and creative head of Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann, is set to receive the esteemed Andrew Yoon Legend Award at the upcoming 13th annual New York Game Awards. This prestigious award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the gaming industry, with notable past recipients including Phil Spencer, Tim Schafer, Hideo Kojima, Jerry Lawson, Reggie Fils-Aimé, Jade Raymond, Todd Howard, and Richard Garriott. Druckmann's ability to craft titles that push the boundaries of cinematic gameplay and storytelling, while also promoting diversity and representation, has earned him widespread acclaim and numerous awards. Having joined Naughty Dog in 2004 as an intern, Druckmann has risen through the ranks, working on the Uncharted series and The Last of Us games, before being appointed co-president and head of creative. The 13th annual New York Game Awards ceremony will take place on January 23, 2024, at the SVA Theatre.
