Former AusGamers Editors Launch New Venture, 3rd-Phase Boss

Veteran managing editors Stephen Farrelly and Kosta Andreadis, formerly associated with AusGamers, have announced the launch of their new gaming, technology, and pop culture publication, 3rd-Phase Boss. This newly established platform, entirely owned and operated by the duo, will feature a podcast with special guest Cam Shea, a former editor at IGN. According to Farrelly and Andreadis, the decision to create their own publication was driven by the desire to have complete control over the direction, design, advertising, partnerships, content, and tone of their work. "After years of working for various publishers and platform owners, we felt it was time to adopt an ownership model and forge our own path," Farrelly explained. With 3rd-Phase Boss, Farrelly and Andreadis join the ranks of other industry veterans who have recently launched their own gaming media outlets, such as Aftermath and Second Wind.
