In October, Twitch recorded 1.77 billion hours of viewership, marking an 8% rise from September's 1.64 billion hours, as reported by StreamElements and Rainmaker. gg's State of the Stream monthly report. Following a decline to 54.7 million daily viewership hours in September, October saw a recovery with 57.2 million daily hours watched. The top games for the two months saw newcomers Starfield and EA Sports FC 24 in September, but by October, only the football game remained a top contender. According to the report, "Starfield and EA Sports FC 24 both made it to the top 10 with impressive launches, ranking fifth and sixth respectively in 2023 debuts based on the first week of hours watched."
