SIDE Establishes Presence in Tokyo

Global audio services provider SIDE, a subsidiary of PTW, has officially opened its doors in Tokyo, marking a significant expansion into the Japanese market. The Tokyo studio will specialize in providing high-quality Japanese voiceovers for video games and other foreign content, in addition to offering expertise in casting, talent negotiation, and production management. Under the leadership of Hiroshi Takao and the guidance of Senior Vice President Olivier Deslandes, the Tokyo office is poised to make a lasting impact. According to PTW CEO Deborah Kirkham, "Japan has always been a key target for SIDE, driven by the country's rich gaming culture and exceptional local talent, which have significantly influenced the global gaming industry." The launch of the Tokyo office complements SIDE's existing locations in Paris, London, Shanghai, and Los Angeles. This move follows the recent acquisition of Vibe Avenue, a music and sound studio rebranded as SIDE Montreal, further solidifying SIDE's position as a leading player in the audio services sector.
