Neowiz Makes Strategic Investment in Blank Game Studios

Neowiz has revealed a $17 million investment in Blank Game Studios, a Polish game development company, securing a 21% stake in the process. The studio was founded by industry veterans Mateusz Kanik, Mikołaj Marchewka, Jędrzej Mróz, and Marcin Jefimow, who have notable backgrounds, including work on Cyberpunk 2077. Kanik, the game director of Cyberpunk 2077, Marchewka, formerly CEO of Rookiez, Mróz, production director of Cyberpunk 2077, and Jefimow, executive producer of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, bring a wealth of experience. The core team at Blank Game Studios comprises primarily former CD Projekt Red employees. According to Neowiz co-CEO Seung-Cheol Kim, "We see Blank Game Studios as a rising force in AAA gaming, and our partnership will leverage synergies to create unique gaming experiences, ultimately strengthening Neowiz's position in the global console market."
