Steam Deck OLED Launch Set for November 16
Valve has officially announced the upcoming release of its Steam Deck OLED gaming console, scheduled to ship on November 16. The device boasts a 7.4-inch display with enhanced color vibrancy and weighs approximately 5% less than the standard model. Notably, the Steam Deck OLED promises 30-50% longer battery life compared to its predecessor and supports faster game downloads via Wifi 6E. The console will be available in 1TB and 512GB variants, priced at $649.00 and $549.00. A limited edition pre-order will be offered in the US and Canada. Additionally, Valve plans to discontinue its 64GB and 256GB Steam Deck LCD models, which will remain available for purchase until stock is depleted. This news follows Valve's earlier statement that a potential Steam Deck 2 may not be released until 2025 or later.
