The Glory Society Officially Cancels Revenant Hill Project

The Glory Society has made the difficult decision to cancel Revenant Hill, the highly anticipated spiritual successor to Night in the Woods, due to unforeseen health issues affecting two key team members. In a statement released on social media, the studio explained that these health concerns necessitated the team members' withdrawal from the project, ultimately leading to its suspension. The cooperative emphasized that the well-being of their team takes precedence over game development. With the loss of crucial personnel and the challenges of reworking the project within existing schedules and budgets, the team has collectively decided to put the project on hold. This move may signal a temporary hiatus for the studio, as indicated by a note on their website stating that The Glory Society was a worker cooperative that worked on Revenant Hill. Initially unveiled at the PlayStation Showcase in May, Revenant Hill was set to be the debut title from The Glory Society, a studio founded by key developers behind Night in the Woods, and was slated for publication by Finji.
