According to a report by The Verge, the company's president and COO, John Robinson, has confirmed that approximately 20% of its workforce will be let go. The layoffs will predominantly affect the organization's game development studio and its energy drink brand, Juvee, which are set to become independent companies. In a statement on X, Robinson explained that the decision to downsize is aimed at allowing 100 Thieves to refocus on its core business and prioritize quality over quantity. He noted that the organization's growth has not kept pace with the evolving economic landscape over the past two years, necessitating a more streamlined approach. Notable employees impacted by the layoffs include esports content lead Andrew White and head of social strategy Micah Kulish.
