Super Mario Wonder Maintains Top Spot in UK Boxed Charts
For the third consecutive week, Super Mario Wonder has held its position at the top of the UK boxed charts, with EA Sports FC 24 remaining in second place. The latter saw a one-spot rise as Spider-Man 2 slipped to third due to a 40% week-on-week sales decline, according to data from GfK. Animal Crossing: New Horizons achieved a 34% sales increase, securing the tenth spot. Robocop: Rogue City made its debut at fourth place, marking the only new entry in the top ten. Other newcomers in the top 20 include WarioWare: Move It, Star Ocean: The Second Story R, and EA Sports WRC. Notably, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1 experienced a significant 85% drop in sales, falling from fourth to 30th. Sonic Superstars also continued its downward trend, moving from 15th to 26th. Several titles benefited from price reductions, including Lego 2K Drive, which saw a 147% sales surge driven by Nintendo Switch sales, and The Dark Souls Trilogy, with a 106% increase on Xbox One.
