SEA-6 Gaming Market Expected to Reach $6 Billion by 2023

A recent report by market research firm Niko Partners reveals that the combined PC and mobile gaming market in the SEA-6 region is on track to achieve $5.8 billion in revenue by 2023. The SEA-6 region encompasses six key countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Mobile gaming is predicted to contribute 66% to the overall revenue. Notably, Indonesia and Thailand are expected to account for nearly half of the region's total consumer spending on games. Looking ahead, the SEA-6 gaming market is projected to expand further, reaching $7.2 billion by 2027. Furthermore, the region's esports market is forecasted to reach $78.6 million in 2023, following the announcement that esports will remain a medal sport at the 2026 Asian Games.
