SIDE Completes Acquisition of Vibe Avenue

SIDE, a leading audio services provider and subsidiary of PTW, has finalized an agreement to acquire Vibe Avenue, a renowned music and sound studio. This strategic move aims to bolster SIDE's capabilities in sound design, music, and soundtrack production, with Vibe Avenue set to operate under the new name SIDE Montreal. Established in 2013, Vibe Avenue boasts an impressive portfolio, having collaborated with prominent clients such as Marvel, Sega, and Disney on notable projects like Season: A Letter to the Future, Operation: Tango, and Convergence: A League of Legends Story. As part of the acquisition, Vibe Avenue's founders, Mathieu Lavoie and François-Xavier Dupas, will take on key leadership roles as senior director and creative director of music and sound at SIDE Montreal, reporting to Olivier Deslandes, senior vice president of audio and speech technology. According to PTW CEO Deborah Kirkham, "The acquisition of Vibe Avenue not only brings some of the industry's top audio talent to our team but also expands our sound design capabilities, enabling us to offer clients a more comprehensive range of services."
