According to Niko Partners' 2023 India Games Market Report, the country's gaming revenue is anticipated to reach $868 million in 2023, marking a 21% increase from the previous year. By 2027, the market is projected to expand to $1.6 billion. The number of gamers in India is expected to rise by 12% to 444 million in 2023. Notably, 31% of the population is predicted to generate revenue from gaming titles. As India's gaming industry is predominantly mobile-driven, a staggering 97% of gamers play on smartphones or tablets.
