Implicit Conversions Establishes New Canadian Operations
Implicit Conversions, a leading retro game and emulation specialist, has announced the launch of its new Canadian headquarters. Bill Litshauer, newly appointed president, will be at the helm of this location. Founded in 2019 by Jake Stine and Robin Lavallée, the company has collaborated with major industry players such as Sony Interactive Entertainment to re-release classic titles from the PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable eras on current-generation Sony consoles. Its notable partnerships include Capcom, Team17, and Bandai Namco, with a portfolio that features iconic games like Ape Escape, Wild Arms 2, and Jumping Flash. According to Litshauer, "Our goal is to enable gamers to recapture the nostalgia of their favorite childhood games while making these timeless classics accessible to a new generation of players on modern consoles."
